Orlando, April 2008 – Coverings presents an opportunity for Lea Ceramiche to introduce its new 2008 product line to the American market.
Two the new collections presented during the trade fair: BSP – Basaltina Stone Project and Attitude, all focusing on investigating the natural elegance of stone, proposing different solutions to accommodate the most sophisticated tastes and aesthetic and architectural requirements.
BSP - Basaltina Stone Project is the key collection at this edition of Coverings. Made using a single stone which takes on different colours depending on the processing it undergoes, BSP is an all-mass porcelainised grès, recalling basaltic stone.
Thanks to the different finishes and to the two different textures, BSP is ideal for indoor and outdoor settings alike. Moreover, the three formats available, 120x60 cm, 60x60 cm and 30x60 cm, make for unique atmospheres, suitable for public spaces as well as attractive living rooms with a strong personality.
Sanded, natural, stuccoed, lapped, dressed and aged and the two textures, chiselled and regular are the 8 variants available originating the different shades of grey, all ground except for the aged version which is only available in the natural finish; a single stone featuring a minimal look and real character designed to create different suggestions. In this collection, Lea Ceramiche has managed to reach an effective synthesis: a natural product resulting from an in-depth research into materials.
The other novelty in this edition of Coverings is Attitude, a contemporary and transversal collection, made with mass enamelled coloured grès available in three different colours, each available in the pale and dark version: bark/light bark, coal/light coal and mauve/light mauve. Shades taken from nature, for contemporary and designer settings. Available in 2 formats, 60x60 cm and 30x60 cm and in the two different dressed and grip and natural finishes, Attitude makes it possible to distinguish genuine settings. The tiles in the collection are ground and guarantee excellent technical performance levels thanks to the special processing they undergo via the use of coloured pastes, coloured and clear grits.
Together with the new products, the stand also exhibits New Decors, a collection which was a huge success with the public. Available in 7 different décors, New Decors is the evolution of the décor, no longer an accessory, but a modular design to match the other collections from Lea Ceramiche (Stonehenge, Naos, Midtown, Masterplan, Haute Couture). Precious colours and sophisticated shapes for a desire for splendour with a touch of retro taste.
Constant stylistic research and attention to details are values which have always distinguished Lea Ceramiche and which also in this edition of Cersaie can be seen in the new collections proposed and the communication choices confirm the company as a success story among ceramic flooring and tiling manufacturers.
